Recently, an adorable photoshoot of a little boy with his great-grandparents is winning the hearts of many on the internet. Rachel Perman, a part-time photographer, told the little boy that she could celebrate his fifth birthday with an interesting photoshoot and he obviously chose his favorite movie, “Up”. The 5-year-old Elijah is fond of Pixar classic so it was a dream come true to dress up like the characters.
“Up” is an American 3D computer-animated comedy-drama buddy adventure film that was released in 2009 and became a huge hit. It was produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures.
Elijah decided to dress like Russel and also suggested to incorporate his 90-year-old grandparents to dressing as Carl and Ellie. The real-life couple Richard and Caroline Bain gave looked like the animated couple and rocked the photoshoot.
The photographer, Perman captured the photos herself and posted them on Facebook and undoubtedly it went viral on social media. Elijah’s twin sister, Emilee, also had a birthday photoshoot. She chose to pose with a horse dressed as a unicorn.
While posting the photos on Facebook, she explained that she does not always post personal photos on her professional page but these images took off on social media. Talking with the reporters about the force behind the photoshoot, she said that “Five years ago, I was diagnosed with cancer right after my twins were born, and had fears if I would even get to see their fifth birthday.”
She went on saying, “My oldest was 5 at the time and I hated not knowing if I would get the same time with them that I got with her.”She was sick for nearly a year and presently in remission. Finally, she was able to make it to her twins’ fifth birthday which is something she was unsure of. So, she wanted to celebrate in a big way. “It’s a celebration for me and them!” she said.
